This project deals with creating sitemaps, IAs, and user flows for mobile & web. The task was to craft a unique user experience for the chosen category. Detailed Information Architectures and user flows for both web and mobile platforms were developed, after careful analysis of existing industry leaders' sitemaps. This project familiarized learners with research of competitors' sitemaps as well as clear, structured thinking for IAs and user flows across web & mobile.
Problem Statement
News and media sites tend to have a lot of material scattered across their site, and users find if hard to stay up to date or find specific articles.
Users need a simple and functional way to navigate sites with extensive content.
Outcome
Analyze existing news and media sites' IAs and create an original site map with potential user flows.
