The capstone project culminates with the creation of high-fidelity wireframes for the chosen app category, focusing on refining visual design elements and user interactions. The team implements key design principles to ensure the app is aesthetically appealing and functionally robust, ready for user testing and final adjustments based on expert feedback, and prepares for a comprehensive presentation.
The project involves conducting both primary and secondary research to comprehend diverse user types, motivations, and challenges within the chosen category. A survey is crafted to glean insights from real users actively engaged with the chosen app category, aiming to identify distinct user types and their experiences. The subsequent competitor analysis & secondary research focused on selecting two key user types to develop detailed personas & create empathy maps.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
Information Architect
This project deals with creating sitemaps, IAs, and user flows for mobile & web. The task was to craft a unique user experience for the chosen category. Detailed Information Architectures and user flows for both web and mobile platforms were developed, after careful analysis of existing industry leaders' sitemaps. This project familiarized learners with research of competitors' sitemaps as well as clear, structured thinking for IAs and user flows across web & mobile.

DESIGN TESTING
Researcher and designer
This design testing assignment requires analyzing competitor websites to inform the redesign of an e-commerce platform. Tasks include competitor analysis to identify a set of cards, followed by card sorting with users to optimize the site's information architecture. Findings from these activities will guide the development of a more intuitive and user-friendly website structure.
